Amazon arriving today but not shipped.
I ordered a new headset and it's supposed to arrive today but it hasn't even shipped yet and it's almost 8 am. I tried canceling because I saw the same headset is in-stock at walmart but it won't let me. How likely am I to actually receive it today. Seems impossible as carriers usually start their routes before 9 am.

If the items aren't showing as shipped, they probably haven't. I'd contact them to find out the status of the missing items. Compensation is usually a flat thing... refund of shipping charges (if any) and a small promotional credit, or a free month of Prime (if you're a member). I have had an item not ship until 6pm and still be delivered on-time.
